CBI names BCCI Chief Srinivasan in Jagan Reddy assets case

BCCI Chief N. Srinivasan has been named as one of the accused in the three charge sheets filed by CBI in connection with the alleged disproportionate assets case against Kadapa MP Jaganmohan Reddy. The agency filed charge sheets against cement companies, India Cements owned by Srinivasan, Panna Cement, and Bharathi Cement, now named as Raghuram Cements, for allegedly investing money in Jagathi publications, owned by Jagan, and in return got favours from the then Andhra Pradesh government led by YS Rajasekhara Reddy.DIG Venkatesh submitted these chargesheets in a sealed cover at the special court in Gagan Vihar building at Nampally. The Central Agency reportedly named Jaganmohan Reddy and his assistant Vijaya Saireddy as prime accused in these chargesheets. Jaganmohan Reddy is presently lodged in Chanchalguda central jail for over past 15 months
