Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu today categorically stated that the Central Bureau of Investigation is independent and not working under the direction of the Central government. Intervening on the CBI raids on a senior officer of Delhi government, Mr Naidu said the government does not interfere in the functioning of CBI. <br/><br/>Mr Naidu lamented about unnecessary comments of Arvind Kejriwal. He said, the investigative agency is looking at an old case and government is nowhere in the picture and has nothing to do with this.
