CBI intensifies probe against suspended Judge

In Andhra Pradesh, the CBI has intensified probe against the suspended First Additional CBI Judge, Pattabhi Ramarao on charges of some alleged misappropriations. The High Court Chief Justice Ramarao was suspended on Friday on alleged involvement in corruption in granting bail to Karnataka former Minister Gali Janardhan Reddy in the OMC case.The State High Court Chief Justice has suspended him and ordered an CBI enquiry into the misappropriations.A team of CBI officials is presently holding search operations at the residence of former judge Chalapathi Rao who allegedly acted as mediator in the case. The central agency has also identified some bank lockers in Hyderabad, in which huge amounts have been reportedly found.
