The Central Bureau of Investigation, CBI, is today questioning former Gujarat Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi in connection with the 2006 fake encounter of Tulsiram Prajapati.

Prajapati was a key witness in Sohrabuddin Sheikh and his wife Kausarbi's murder case.

Prajapati was killed in a shootout near Chapri village in Banaskantha district on December 28, 2006. He was a close aide of Sohrabuddin. CBI took over the case last April following direction from the Supreme Court.
