Gujarat High Court today granted two-day custody of former minister of state Amit Shah to CBI in connection with Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter. Justice Akil Qureshi granted two day custody of Shah to CBI after the agency challenged the lower court judgment which had rejected the remand earlier. Veteran lawyer KTS Tulsi has represented CBI in high court.AIR Ahmedabad Correspondent reports that Sohrabuddin Sheikh was killed in an encounter-by Gujarat Anti Terrorist Squad in November 2005. Later, it was termed fake after the investigation of State CID. Sohrabuddin’s wife Koserbi also allegedly killed by Gujarat Police. Amit Shah was charge sheeted for murder, abduction, extortion and conspiracy along with some senior police officers in this case.
