CBI today filed charge sheet against against two senior Border Road Organisation (BRO) officers in a Shimla Court of CBI.

The chargesheet has been filed for causing a loss to the tune of over 61 lakh rupees to the government exchequer.

The charge sheet has been filed under prevention of corruption act after 20 months of investigation since the case was registered against them in February, 2012.

Concerned officers are Brigadier J.K. Narang and Lt. Colonel, Chanchal Jhamb.

They were allegedly involved in procuring telephone exchanges in 2009 a highly exorbitant rate.
