The CBI has filed a chargesheet against former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala for allegedly possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. The chargesheet against Chautala was filed in a Delhi court on March 26 for allegedly possessing assets to the tune 60 crore rupees disproportionate to his income between 1993 and 2006. In a release today, a spokesman of the investigating agency said the chargesheet was filed after the CBI received a nod from the Haryana Speaker.
