CBI today filed a chargesheet against nine Manipur police personnel in connection with the sensational killing of an unarmed youth at Imphal last year which had led to protests in the state. Citing over 250 witnesses, CBI has filed the chargesheet under various sections of IPC, including murder, against the commandos of Manipur Police and the then Officer in Charge of City Police Station Imphal in connection with the killing of Sanjit Meitei on July 23, 2009.
