CBI files case against Chandrababu Naidu in disproportionate assets case

The CBI has registered a case against Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party President Chandrababau Naidu and 12 others for preliminary enquiry into the alleged disproportionate assets held by them.

CBI Joint Director Lakshminarayana said notices would be issued from tomorrow onwards to the respondents and probe would be completed in there months after filing FIR.

The CBI filed the case last evening following directions given by the Andhra Pradesh High Court on a petition filed by Y S Vijaya lakshmi wife of late former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy seeking a probe against Naidu’s wealth.
