In Madhya Pradesh, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed an appeal in the court of district and sessions judge in Bhopal against the verdict of the trial court delivered on 7th June in Bhopal gas tragedy criminal case. In its revision petition, the CBI has cited inadequate punishment to the accused as the reason for its filing an appeal against the verdict. The district judge Subash Kakade has fixed the case on 30th of this month for hearing in the matter.
