The Central Bureau of Investigation-CBI today registered a fresh FIR and a Preliminary Inquiry related to VYAPAM scam. The FIR has been filed under different sections of IPC and M.P. Recognised Examination Act against 18 accused in connection with alleged illegalities committed in the Forest Guard recruitment test. This test was conducted by Vyapam in 2012. This is the 17th FIR by the CBI in the Vyapam Scam. The Preliminary enquiry has been registered relating to the unnatural death of Brijesh Rajput of Jabalpur. Brajesh, an accused in VYAPAM, died in 2010.
