CBI court to take up hearing of anticipatory bail application of Yeddyurappa

In Karnataka, the CBI court will take up hearing of anticipatory bail application of former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and his family members today. They are seeking bail as CBI has registered a complaint against them in the illegal mining case. The CBI had conducted raids on residences of B S Yeddyurappa in Bangalore and Shimoga early morning yesterday. The raids were also conducted on mining companies in Bellary, allegedly involved in paying kickback to companies owned by Yeddyurappa’s sons. The CBI sources have confirmed that several incriminating documents were seized during the raids in Bangalore, Shimoga and Bellary.
