<span style="color: #222222;">In Gujarat, a special CBI court of Ahmedabad today dropped the case against the three remaining accused police officers in the Ishrat Jahan encounter case of 2004. These police officers are Inspector General of Police G. L. Singhal, retired Deputy Superintendent of Police Tarun Barot and Assistant Sub Inspector Anaju Chaudhary. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">While granting relief to the accused officers, CBI Special Judge Vipul Raval observed that- Ishrat and three others who were killed in the encounter were prima facie terrorists. With this, all seven accused Gujarat policemen have been dropped from the proceeding without trial.</span><br />''  <br />
