A CBI court today extended the CBI custody of ex-Noida chief engineer Yadav Singh by five days in a graft case. Yadav Singh has previously spent six days in the custody of the Central Bureau of Investigation. Singh was arrested for alleged irregularities in contracts worth rupees 954 crore given to private firms, was produced before a CBI court in Ghaziabad.<br/><br/>Earlier, the agency has registered two separate cases against the then Chief Engineer NOIDA, Greater NOIDA and Yamuna Expressway, Yadav Singh and his family members for alleged corruption and amassing assets disproportionate to the known sources of income.<br/><br/> In August 2015, CBI carried out searches at 14 locations including at his residence and offices of Noida. Several incriminating documents and the Income Tax Returns were allegedly recovered from several premises of Yadav Singh.
