The CBI has continued questioning YSR Congress Party President Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on the second consecutive day on Saturday in connection with his disproportionate assets case. Amidst tight security arrangements, he reached the CBI Camp office in Hyderabad and a team of officials continued interrogation in the presence of his advocates. The CBI team grilled the Kadapa Lok Sabha member for about eight hours on Friday reportedly over the investments in his companies.
The CBI registered a case against him and 71 others last year alleging that he conspired with his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, who was then the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, to dole out favours to some companies for his gains.
So far four persons including the state Excise Minister M Venkataramana, Industrialist Prasad, senior Official Brahmananda Reddy and Jaganmohan Reddy’s Auditor Vijayasai Reddy have been arrested in this connection.
