The CBI has interrogated Kadapa Lok Sabha member and YSR Congress Party president Y S Jagamohan Reddy for nearly seven and half hours on the second continues day today in connection with the disproportionate assets case. Amidst tight security arrangements at its camp office in Hyderabad , the CBI questioned him till 6 o clock in the evening.
While leaving for his residence, Jaganmohan Reddy told media that he has been asked to come again tomorrow. He also said the CBI has asked some more clarifications and he provided the same to the central agency.
The interrogation continued in the presence of his advocates and was reportedly focused on the investments in Jaganmohan Reddy’s companies. The CBI had grilled the Kadapa MP for nearly eight hours yesterday.
The CBI registered a case against the Kadapa MP and 71 others last year alleging that he conspired with his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, who was then the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, to dole out favours to some companies for his gains. So far four persons including the state Excise Minister M Venkataramana have been arrested in this connection.
