CBI recovered and seized cash of about 28 lakhs rupees so far from the house of TMC MLA from Domkal, Jafikul Islam. The counting process is not over yet. Several documents were also seized. It The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today conducted raids at the residences of several Trinamool Congress, including MLA of Domkal in Murshidabad district Jafikul Islam, Kolkata Municipal Corporation councillor Bappadittya Dasgupta and Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation councillor Debraj Chakraborty. CBI sources said, these raids were conducted in connection with school teachers' recruitment scams and municipal recruitment scams. CBI also questioned people whose homes and offices were being raided.
