The CBI will file its first chargesheet today against Raja and some of his close aides and a couple of real estate companies in connection with the 2G scam. Quoting CBI sources, AIR correspondent reports that the extent of loss to the state exchequer may not be included in the charge sheet as the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India is yet to complete the process of ascertaining the loss on allocation of spectrum to all operators between 2001 and 2008. The chargesheet is likely to cover the alleged criminal conspiracy behind the allocation of spectrum during 2007-08 by Raja, the then Telecom Minister.
