CBI today carried out searches at the office and residence of IRS officer M Krishnaswamy for allegedly amassing wealth of over six crore rupees, disproportionate to his income sources. CBI sources said a case has been registered against Krishnaswamy at Settlement Commission, Chennai, and eight others for possession of disproportionate assets. The searches were carried out at 14 places at Chennai, Palani and other places in Tamil Nadu in connection with the case.
