The Central Bureau of Investigation, CBI has busted a human trafficking racket and booked three persons on charges of sending 23 teenaged students to France in 2016 for a rugby training camp.<br/><br/>An FIR was registered by the agency under various sections of Indian Penal Code against three private persons who are residents of Delhi and Faridabad and others on the allegations of Criminal Conspiracy, Human Trafficking, Cheating, Forgery and using Forged documents as genuine. <br/><br/>The accused had collected 25 to 30 lakh rupees from the parents and sent the students to France on the pretext of rugby training. After the students reached France in February last year, they were dumped in a gurudwara. <br/><br/>The return tickets of trafficked students were cancelled by the agents but two boys somehow managed to come back before their tickets had been cancelled. One boy was caught by the French police earlier this year and Interpol was alerted. The Interpol informed CBI after which an investigation was started. <br/><br/>CBI sources say that most of the trafficked students are from Punjab, Haryana and Delhi. It is alleged that the visa in respect of said students were obtained from French Embassy at Delhi on the basis of forged and fabricated documents. <br/><br/>Searches were conducted today at four places at Delhi which resulted in recovery of incriminating documents and other articles from the premises of accused persons.
