<span style="color: #222222;">The CBI has booked former Chairperson of Sangeet Natak Akademi Leela Samson for alleged unfruitful expenditure of over seven crore rupees on the renovation of Koothambalam auditorium of Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In a complaint, the Chief Vigilance Officer of the Culture Ministry said the contract for the renovation work was awarded at a higher rate in violation of General Finance Rules. Along with Samson, four others have been booked in the case. </span><br />
