In Uttar Pradesh, the CBI has begun the process of exhuming the bodies of the two teenagers who were allegedly gangraped and found hanging from a tree in Katra Saadatganj of Badaun in May this year. e Chief Medical Officer and Chief Development Officer of Badaun alongwith other senior administrative officers besides, forensic and medical experts are present on the spot. The CBI has constituted a medical board consisting of AIIMS doctors to look into the alleged rape and murder of two girls.
AIR corespondent quoting sources reports that the agency is to dig the graves tonight and the area has been cordoned off. It had earlier planned to carry out the process on Sunday but in the wake of rising levels of nearby river Ganga threatening to inundate the graves, the team has decided to do so on Saturday. Sources said the agency has made all the arrangements to conduct fresh autopsy near the graves. Sources also said that the fresh autopsy is likely to be conducted by the medical experts just after exhuming the bodies.
