CBI arrests three officials in Mumbai, in connection with Adarsh Society missing file case

The Central Bureau of Investigation arrested Maharashtra Urban Development department officer Gurudutt Vajpe, Assistant Town Planner N N Narvekar, and Waman Raul, the then clerk to principal secretary Ramanand Tiwari, for their alleged involvement in the Adarsh Society missing file case, yesterday night in Mumbai. The Bombay High Court had yesterday pulled up the CBI for neglecting the probe into the files related to Adarsh that had gone missing from the Urban Development Department. Our correspondent reports that the arrests were made after interrogation of around 35 people for a month.
