CBI arrests Swami Asimanand in Mecca Masjid blast case

The CBI has arrested preacher Swami Asimanand in connection with Mecca Masjid blast in Hyderabad in May 2007. The accused was arrested from Haridwar where he was staying with fake name and had also managed to get fake identity documents for himself. The accused was produced before the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Tis Hazari Court in Delhi where he was granted the transit demand for two days. He will be produced before the designated court in Hyderabad for further remand. Two more accused in the case are already in judicial custody.
