The Central Bureau of Investigation, CBI has arrested Project Manager of Jharia Project Office of Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited, MECL Dhanbad in Jharkhand while accepting a bribe of 13 thousand rupees from the Complainant. A case was registered on Thursday on a complaint. <br/><br/>The complainant who is a private contractor alleged that the accused had demanded the bribe from him for making payments to him in respect of supply of Water Tankers for MECL. The CBI laid a trap and caught the accused red-handed while accepting the bribe. <br/><br/>Searches were conducted at the official and residential premises of accused at Jharia and Dhanbad in Jharkhand and Dehradun in Uttrakhand.<br/><br/>The arrested accused was produced before the Court at Dhanbad and remanded to Judicial Custody.
