The CBI has arrested a Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner, an Assistant Labour Commissioner and a Labour Enforcement Officer in Kochi in a bribery case. It has also arrested a person working as a manager in a private firm in the same case. <br/><br/>CBI said, a case was registered against Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner and Assistant Labour Commissioner on the allegations that the accused were collecting illegal gratification regularly from labour contractors. <br/><br/>The CBI intercepted the accused persons while handing over 25 thousand rupees each to Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner and Assistant Labour Commissioner and ten thousand rupees to Labour Enforcement Officer by a person of private firm. Searches were also conducted at the residential and official premises of the accused.
