The Central Bureau of Investigation, CBI, has arrested an Upper Division Clerk, UDC, in Ministry of Water Resources, New Delhi, for his alleged involvement in fraudulent recruitment to a Group D post. Search is being conducted at accused office and residential premises. <br/><br/>It is alleged that the UDC had demanded a bribe of Two lakh rupees each from 10 candidates for providing them a Group D Multi Tasking Staff job in Ministry of Finance. An amount of approximate 6.5 lakh rupees was paid by the candidates and the rest was to be paid after they get the job. A case was registered on a complaint.
