The Central Bureau of Investigation, CBI today arrested Rourkela Steel Plant Executive Director (Works) BP Burma allegedly for taking bribe. CBI sources said, Burma was arrested on the allegation of taking 1 lakh rupees bribe to pass a tender.<br/><br/>Earlier on Sunday, a six-day team of the CBI had raided the house and office of Burma at Rourkela and seized 20 lakh rupees cash of Rs 2000 denomination from his possession. CBI also said investigation into seizure of huge cash of Rs 2000 denomination from Burma's possession is underway. The officials had seized some important documents during the search.
