In West Bengal, the Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested an accused in the Jnaneshwari Train derailment Case. The accused was produced today before the Jhargram Court in Midnapur and was remanded to ten days’ police custody. <br/><br/>The CBI has also requested Jhargram Court for the application of Sections 16 & 18 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention)Act against the accused.<br/><br/>A release in New Delhi said, the whole operation of arresting the accused was done in close co-operation with the West Bengal Police under the command of IG, Western Zone Police, Midnapur and his team.
