The Central Bureau of Investigation apprehended Director General of Corporate Affairs B K Bansal in connection with an alleged bribery case of nine lakh rupess at a hotel in New Delhi yesterday. <br/><br/>CBI sources said Mr Bansal along with a private person Vishwadeep Bansal were nabbed yesterday, while bribe was allegedly being exchanged for showing favours to a private firm. <br/><br/>Nearly fifty-four lakh rupees were recovered during searches at six locations in connection with the case.<br/><br/>Mr Bansal, Senior Administrative Grade officer of the Indian Corporate Law Service was promoted to the post of the Director General of Corporate Affairs last year.
