The Central Board of Film Certification ' CBFC has taken serious notice of a few recent instances where filmmakers have tampered with certified content. In a statement, CBFC has said that filmmakers must get voluntary alterations duly endorsed on the Certificates before showing them to the general public.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #000000;">Warning of stringent action in case of violation, CBFC has further said that applicants and distributors must take due care in this regard. Acknowledging the film fraternity's cooperation over the years, CBFC said it has also streamlined its certification process by making it transparent, responsive and as swift as possible.</span><br />
