<span style="color: #222222;">The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has refuted the media reports about the alleged payoff to the BJP leaders. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Issuing clarification, the CBDT said, during its searches against Congress leader DK Shivakumar in 2017, loose sheets of papers were found containing numerical entries against some individual names which appeared to be doubtful as the originals are not available. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The CBDT said, it had recovered photocopy of diary pages of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly of 2009 from  Shivakumar during a search action. </span><br />
