The Central Board of Direct Taxes, CBDT has extended the last date of filing the Income-tax Return by 7th of next month under sub-Section (1) of Section 139 of the Income-tax Act, for the Assessment Year 2022-23.<br />'' <br />'' In a press release today, CBDT said that the extension of date has been done for the category of assessees for whom the last date is 31st of this month.<br />''
