Country’s oldest prisoner freed

India's oldest prisoner, Brij Bihari Pandey (108), has been freed from the Gorakhpur after spending 24 years behind bars for committing multiple murders.Bihari was 84 when he along with 15 others had killed four people in Maharajganj district on June 15, 1987.

Voting on for last phase of J&K panchayat polls

The third and final phase of the Jammu and Kashmir panchayat elections is being held in Leh district today. The polling begins this morning at 8 am. Polling is being held in two blocks of the district. AIR Leh Correspondent reports, by 12 PM, over 60% of votes has been registered.
