Australian Navy intercepts asylum seeker boat

The Australian Navy has intercepted a boat carrying asylum seekers off Flying Fish Cove at Christmas Island. The authorities said there were 66 asylum seekers and three crew members on board the ship. The group will be taken to Christmas Island for health and security checks.
