EQ hits Chile

A 5.9 magnitude earthquake struck Chile this morning. The quake was centered 35 kilometers north of Valparaiso and 119 kilometers northwest of Santiago. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake occurred offshore at a depth of 19 kilometers. There were no reports of damage or casualty.
