SAD back in power again

All the results of Punjab assembly polls have been declared. The ruling Shiromani Akali Dal is set to form the government again. It has won 56 seats and its ally BJP 12, together winning 68 seats in the 117 member assembly. Congress has got 46 and others three.

Seven results declared in UP; SP bags 6, RLD 1

Out of the seven results delcared in Uttar Pradesh so far, six have been won by Samajwadi Party. One seat has gone to RLD.Samajwadi Party has retained the Itwa seat and wrested three seats of Auraiya, Mahmudabad and Biswan from the BSP. It has also wrested Sevata seat from the Congress.
