Gold prices closer to Rs 30,000-mark

Gold prices surged 850 rupees, to 29,650 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market. Gold has now gained 2,600 rupees in eleven straight sessions. Silver spurted 750 rupees, to 37,850 rupees per kilo. Silver coins spurted 1,000 rupees, to 54,000 rupees for buying 100 pieces.
