SBI rules out any immediate hike in lending rate

The State Bank of India has ruled out any immediate hike in its lending rate, despite RBI revising upwards the repo and reverse repo rates. SBI chairman OP Bhatt told reporters Mumbai today that the bank will wait for further signals from annual monetary policy to be announced in April.
