Sensex closes with marginal gain of 6 pts

The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange closed with a marginal gain of 6 points, at 17,941, on Tuesday.The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange declined 2 points, to 5,366. Stock markets in Japan, China, Singapore and South Korea ended mixed.

Gold prices fall by Rs 50
