Rupee down by 17 paise against dollar

The Indian rupee depreciated by 17 paise to 45.10 a dollar in early trade today. The rupee had ended lower by 32 paise at 44.9394 a dollar in the previous session. The depreciation of rupee is due to fund outflows and the US currency's gains overseas.
