BSE Sensex up by 113 points in afternoon trade

The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex is up by 113 points and trading at 16,949 points in the afternoon trade. In the opening trade Sensex fell by 73 points. This followed cues from other Asian bourses.The National Exchange NIFTY was also up by 22 points at 5081.
