Rupee depreciated by 29 paise against dollar

The Indian rupee depreciated by 29 paise to 46.73 a dollar in early trade at the Interbank Foreign Exchange today. The rupee had ended 4 paise higher at 46.44 a dollar in the previous session. Forex dealers said the weakening of rupee is due to fresh capital outflows by foreign funds from equities.
