Crude rises in Asian trade

Crude rose in Asian trade, following tensions in the oil-rich Gulf region and impact from Japan's nuclear crisis. New York's main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in April, went up to 103 dollar per barrel while Brent North Sea crude for May was up to over 116 dollars.
