Sensex down by 55 points

Rupee falls 3 paise against US dollar in early trade

The Indian rupee dropped further by 10 paise to 44.61 per US dollar in early trade on Monday. The rupee hovered in a range between 44.53 and 44.61 per dollar in morning deals. The euro and dollar fell to record lows against the Swiss franc in the Sydney market in early trade.
