Rupee rises nine paise, at 48.60 against dollar

The rupee appreciated by 9 paise to trade at 48 rupees 60 paise against the dollar in early trade today on increased foreign fund inflows.In a previous session on Friday, the domestic currency had closed 46 paise higher at over three-month high of 48 rupees 69 paise against the US currency.
