Sensex falls 18 pts to close at 17,521

Snapping three days of gains, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange closed 18 points, or 0.1 percent lower, at 17,521, on mild profit-booking, amid mostly weak global markets, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange shed 10 points, or 0.2 percent, to 5,317.
