S&P 500, Nasdaq reach their highest closes in 14 months

The S&P 500 and Nasdaq reached their highest closes in 14 months on Tuesday after data showed consumer prices rose modestly in May.   The Nasdaq Composite index rose 0.85 percent, the S&P 500 accelerated 0.7 percent and the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 0.45 percent.
