The increased daily limit of withdrawal from ATMs has come into effect from today. People can, now, withdraw 4,500 rupees from ATMs instead of 2,500.In a notification, the Reserve Bank of India had said that there will be no change in the weekly withdrawal limit, which, for individuals, stands at 24,000 rupees, including from ATMs, and 50,000 rupees for small traders.Limits had been imposed on withdrawal of cash from banks as well as ATMs following demonetisation of old 500 and 1,000 rupee notes.
