The United Nations Children's Fund warns it may be forced to shut down schools for more than 19,000 children in camps for internally displaced people in Northwestern Pakistan by the end of the month because it has run out of cash.UNICEF is appealing to donors to come up with the money to keep these children in school. Fighting between the Pakistan government and Taliban militia in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas and the North West Frontier Province has displaced more than 1.3 million people.Most are living with impoverished host families. But, about 125,000 displaced people are living in camps. The United Nations Children's Fund estimates 60 percent of the displaced are children.
